TeamHuman.org is currently collecting donations related to the Team LaLanne project. Funds will be used to defray the cost of running this website as well towards organizing a collective "feat of strength" athletic event for members of the Team LaLanne Tribe in the San Francisco Bay Area, which all willing and able bodies are welcome to join. Any surplus funds remaining after these expenses are paid will be donated to a worthy charity chosen by consensus of all donors.
Note that TeamHuman.org has no sponsors, backing, or other funding sources and does not place ads on this website (at least not yet). It operates primarily on the spare energy and time of its founder (Steve Chervitz Trutane), which should sustain it for some time to come even without your contributions, (but your generosity is always appreciated and will help add fuel to my tank. ;-)
TeamHuman.org is a not-for-profit effort, but does not yet have official non-profit certification (such as 501(c)(3) status). The plan is to eventually attain this, but in the mean time, your contributions are not tax-deductable, though we will keep track of your karma points. Proceeds from donations may also be put towards retaining any outside assistance needed to achieve non-profit certification. If there any lawyers out there willing to do some pro bono work towards this end, contact me.
TeamHuman.org respects the confidentiality of its supporters and we do not lend, rent or sell our lists of donors at any time.
